Magazines!

Dear Families,
Yesterday a packet came home with students. We are asking students to fill out the address book with 7 addresses of friends and family and return to school. For every book returned we will receive 2 free TIME for Kids subscriptions. The cards that the students fill out will then be sent to those family members with the option to buy magazines, but no purchase is required for the school to receive our free magazines. Also, please know that these addresses you provide will not be used or submitted to some mailing list. The cards are torn out of the books, placed in envelopes and mailed directly to your friends and family.
We know that you are all very busy and we hate to put one more thing on your plate, but please understand that participating in this program is the only way we will be able to have the TIME for Kids magazines in our classrooms next year. With out this program we will not be able to afford them. I am sure as 5th grade parents you have already discovered how valuable these tools have been to our curriculum and helping us to teach non-fiction reading skills, as well as help students have a better understanding of current events and science and social studies concepts.
The address books are due on Friday - however we won't turn down one brought in on Monday!
