In math this week . . .
On Monday we went over our homework from Friday. The rest of class was spent reviewing for the test.
Tuesday - Unit 2 Math Test. Look for those tests to come home Thursday or Friday to be signed and returned to their classroom teacher.
The rest of the week in class we will begin Unit 3 on Fractions and Ratios. I will be sending home the new vocabulary words on Thursday. Students should start studying those a little each night.
This week during writing . . .
Students are starting a new writing piece using personification. They will be picking an object from their everyday lives to write about a Day in the Life of ...
Also, during writing this week students will be given a lesson by Mrs. Fredrickson, our Library Media Specialist on how to save using their zip drives. It is important that students have those here by Thursday.

Student Council speeches and voting will take place on Wednesday.
