February 23-27

It's conference week. If you have misplaced your slip, email me and I will write your time in your child's planner.
Today we had a special visit from some members of the KU football team. They came to read to the fourth grade in honor of Read Across America week, which kicks off next week.
State Assessments Start Next Week! Don't forget to make sure that your students get a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast. To kick off our state assessments parents are going to be hosting a Brainy Bobcat Breakfast in the gym Monday morning when school starts. Students should go directly to the gym when they get to school on Monday. This will be for both 3rd and 4th graders, as both classes will start testing next week.

Monday's Homework - Students need to finish reading Chapter 7, lesson 2. They also need to spend some time studying their study guide and map. Also, please make sure your students are studying their spelling.

Tuesday's Homework - My math class needs to do pg 306-307 #1-23. In social studies students need to do the study guide for Chapter 7, lessons 2 and 3. They also need to spend some time studying for the test, which is on Monday. There is also a paragraph that some students need to finish tonight - you may need to help them proofread. Don't forget to study spelling too!

Wednesday's Homework - My math class has an assignment on pages 310-312, #s 1-21. We also have our Social Studies Test on Monday, so study, study, study! There is no spelling list this week. Have a great long weekend!
